location and cleanliness

nothing

It close to the beach and Walmart. We had a balcony which was nice. Covered parking was nice.

Still some trash in it from previous occupants. There was no conditioner for my wife and daughter, when asked about it at the front desk, my wife was just handed a bunch of small bottles of conditioner. One of the elevators was broken but nothing saying it was broken until you got to it, the guy at front desk could say something or a sign saving you from walking to it, it also made it kind of a pain from the parking garage, multiple families trying to share one tiny elevator. The price was obscene for what it was. Almost 300 because it’s on the beach! That same room and amenities wouldn’t be worth 130 anywhere else, the fact that it was that much for the beach, when most of the rooms don’t even face the beach is absurd. We drove down from Kansas, we couldn’t check in before 3pm and had to vacate the room by 11am. That’s 20 hours, and if there is no early check ins then please put on the website. We got there around 1 and had to kill 2 hours which was annoying. If the room has been “cleaned” it should be available. We started looking at other hotels while sitting in the hotel room thinking about leaving. We will stay at a different hotel when we are down there next July. With the Hilton name attached to it we kind of figured it would’ve been a little nicer. Please fix the elevator for future guests. The room had a cracked window it also felt cold yet humid and smelled musty.
