Royal Atlantic Beach Resort

I like the courtyard and heated pool and friendly staff. Room was updated and nice. Ice machine worked well. The breakfast was good. The beach is beautiful and I saw an amazing sunrise.

The courtyard has Montauk daisies which are beautiful but bring allot of bees…. The machines in the game room are mostly broken. Bar was not open. No exhaust I stalled in the bathroom and window is in a tough spot to access. The rates went way up but the hotel hasn’t changed much.

Breakfast portions were too small

Simple place direct on the beach. Large room with cool balcony. Easy free car park. Breakfast included.

Need a small refit.

The oceanfront and proximity to downtown and other attractions .

Mildew smell in room. No lock on sliding glass door to back deck. Big safety issue. A piece of wood was placed in door track to keep closed. The screen was coming off. There were two flies in our room the entire 2-night stay. No fan in bathroom or hook to hang towel or clothes. Scalding hot water, and my 85-year old father almost was burnt bad in shower. Parking was also not ideal. Had to park at another location across street. Staff was not personable. I requested two bikes when making reservation online. I received a message right away they could accommodate. Closer to time it changed to possibly. No mention of it at desk.
