We really enjoyed our stay at The Inn at Castel Rock. The location was great for us as avid walkers, and being just a short walk from downtown meant we didn't need to drive. The continental breakfast was nice, and the staff and fellow travelers were friendly and great to chat with.

While the property is older and feels its age, with somewhat small rooms and limited storage space, it was still a good choice for our trip. Parking is on the city street, we preferred to keep our vehicle parked once we secured a good spot in front of the hotel. I can see that to be a bit of an issue.

It was quiet, and nice.

No parking. The web site said they had a private parking, but there was nothing private about it. Everybody parked there.

The breakfast was serve yourself from the refrigerator with assorted breads and cereal and fruit.

The light was not on at 5:30 am so we didn't know that it was available. A sign to tell us to help ourselves after 5:30 would have been helpful. The yogurts and bananas went quickly.

They put us into a room that looked out to a cliff rather than the front of the building.
