AmeriVu Inn and Suites - Waconia

I’m almost certain there was green mold in my sausage but the only thing the staff said is - no it’s fresh. I didn’t eat it.

Very friendly staff. Super good coffee. Very quiet

The room did not have the mobility details; I was told none available. Realized I would not be able to stay without. Lindsey called me when I was out to dinner; she was able to work out a swap had a team transferring our items to room 211. A perfect fit: shower, raised toilet, grab bars. I so appreciated her and her support crew for doing this. I would have had to find other accommodations. Five stars for her customer service. And I hope a bonus from Amerivu treating these kind ladies to a pizza lunch!!!!

2 things There was a lack of coffee a couple mornings in the breakfast room The pool is down the hall from the front desk. People walk from the pool to the elevator and more than once the tile floor in the reception area by the front desk is wet. This could result in a slip and fall and is a liability hazard. Would suggest your loss control employee check this out for a solution And room 211 has a huge crack in the window. Might want to fix that before a strong storm comes. And the chairs in the reception area by the front desk could use a shampooing. Otherwise the motel seems well maintained. My 4th stay here.

Good location the beds were comfortable

You had to make sure the door shut tight and look like a little mold by the shower! The hot tub didn’t work which really disappointed us! The garbage in the breakfast area was overflowing at 4 pm when we were checking things out at our arrival!!
