Hotel Diamond

The hotel is a charming gem in the middle of town with friendly staff. Parking is right next door (public garage) for free.

My room unfortunately was accross the street from the super loud bar that didnt close until sometime after 2am or so. Thumping music, so I would have preferred to stay towards the front of the hotel or garage side.

Food was good at restaurant. However, you need some gluten free options or accomodations. I ended up ordering the hamburger but had to go get my own gluten free bread All restaurants now do some GF options - I am celiac

The downtown location is awesome. I parked in the parking garage next to the hotel and could walk to shops and restaurants. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Large mini frig in room. Voucher for $15 off food was nice.

My 1st room key did not work, so I went back down the elevator and she made me new keys. This time they worked but I walked into someone else's room. I went back down the elevator and asked for MY room and new keys. They were confused and scrambling to figure out what they had done wrong. While they apologized they were still a little snarky about the whole thing. The elevator doors would open and close constantly and we could not get to our floor. In the morning we had a meeting to get to so we ordered toast, fruit and bacon in the restaurant. After waiting 45 minutes we asked for it to go and we were late to our meeting. The cooks were in no hurry and everyone was moving so slowly.
