AmericInn by Wyndham Iron Mountain

Location

As always, the room is comfortable and clean. The breakfast is standard and satisfactory. Perfect to get out and get going for the day. Most of the staff here is fantastic to work with. They're always very polite and friendly.

I stayed in the same room every time I've come. Not by choice, just works out this particular trip. There were people above me and running pounding in the room. Above me all night and at about little after midnight, I called down to the front desk and was greeted with. What do you want me to do about it? I laughed at that, I figured I'd wait and see if they called up there did something, or if the people would quiet down, they didn't. So I walked down there by the front desk, took pictures. A gentleman working in the front desk was busy watching TV. In the back room and I stood there and he never turned and acknowledged my presence got a picture of em, sent it to the manager. The rest of the staff is amazing and to resolve the loud noise upstairs. I just went and banged on the ceiling and they stopped. Also the lights in the room is too dark.

Nice breakfast, good hours for pool, friendly staff

Not soundproof - could hear neighbors above and next door. Walking through the smoke from the smoking section that is located right next to the front door.

Location and friendly staff.

Breakfast was not well stocked, pool closed at 9pm for kids, and extra pillow in room was dirty.
