Absolutely loved the deck and view out back -- best part of the room. Staff was very friendly. Room, linens, etc were comfortable. Bathroom was okay for our purposes but pretty small. We came when everything was closing down for the season so that was a little disappointing, but all in all, a great stay and would recommend it to friends with a few small caveats.
Well, the weather was frigid but not your fault! See above. Food at breakfast buffet was not hot at all so that was kind of a bummer.

Great location for the east side of Glacier. Rooms were a good size, clean, and we liked the river rolling behind the main lodge.
There's not much in St Mary, and we lost out on dinner one night when the Snowgoose Grille closed 2 hours early. Seems a risk you run when approaching end of season - not much was open in the area.

Amazing view of the park, sunset, and stars at night. You pay for it, but it is always wonderful to stay in the park. Thank you.

Great location right outside of the east entrance to Glacier NP. There are no crowds on this side of the park and we were able to quickly get into the park with no traffic or lines. The staff was friendly and overall facilities (restaurant, shop) were decent.
We ended up in the older "motel" side of the facility across the street from the main building shown in the pictures. The motel is old and shows it. It was clean but not what the pictures show in the listing.
