Overall a great stay, we enjoyed:
- Good location - close to some shops/food options/the wharf
- Good facilities - shower was good, bed was pretty comfortable, decent pillows etc.
- Size of room was reasonable, not too small
- Free bottled water daily plus housekeeping
- We had some issues in the beginning as the air conditionnig didn't work. After the maintenance man couldn't get it fixed, they thankfully could move us to another room which was appreciated. We heard that a few rooms were having the same issues as they had recently upgraded all of the systems and renovated. It would have dramatically changed our experience if they couldn't have fixed that situation by moving us.
- The lifts are extremely old and slow which can make things frustrating.
- If you need to drive and park, valet parking is very expensive.

The room was large with a comfortable bed, ample storage and tidy decor. The shower temperature was good and air conditioning was effective. There were plenty of plug sockets including USB-C.
The swimming pool was a decent size for a hotel pool and the correct temperature. The hot tub was a great feature. It was also useful to have a large changing/shower room near the pool area.
Staff on the most part were very helpful, pleasant and professional.
Overall I was happy with my stay and would be glad to stay again.
The check-in experience felt rather rude although this may not have been intentional. The lady serving barely said a word to me, explained nothing and pointed towards the card reader with no detail as to what I was paying for. I didn't feel especially welcome. Being generous, this may have been misinterpreted by me and I didn't experience this from any other members of staff.
The on site bar was fine but did have some inconvenient opening hours. The lifts are a little slow if being picky.
