Wingate by Wyndham Horn Lake Southaven

I was there for a procedure and it was at 8am . After the procedure I needed to lay down and rest. I requested an early check-in. They were able to allow me to check in at 11am about 30 minutes after leaving from the facility

Great location, clean, safe. Near Waffle House! A bargain for a nice clean new room.

I liked the breakfast and I liked the location of the hotel. The room was really good and met my expectations.

The room they first offered to to us was a little bit smaller than we would have liked and there was still maintainence supplies still in the room. boards and paint. We feel that they should have at least offered us a discount for still having these things in the room. The lamp didn't work nor did the TV. They did offer us another room which turned out to be much better. I did like the breakfast, however, I felt that they did not check on it and didn't restock it so there were times when there was nothing to eat. If we are paying for it then I feel that there needs to be a better variety. Not everyone like just bisquits and pancakes or cereal. And when we asked them to refill they acted like that it was a chore to do so. They were not friendly in that aspect.

The room was clean and comfortable, the staff at the front desk was friendly.

I could smell a mild odor, may have been the carpet. The air conditioner in the room i stayed in was loud, and I could not sleep because of the constant door slamming throughout the night. I don't know if it was the placement of my room (at the end of the all) or what, but every time I dozed off there was noise to wake me up. That is not a direct reflection of the business, but it was definitely unfortunate.
