A Wave Inn - Montauk

Fantastic location right in the middle of Montauk Village. Clean, well appointed rooms, comfortable beds, nice in-room amenities

Cleaning Staff were a bit keen to get me out on departure day

It was super comfortable, the location was excellent, the check in check out process was seamless, staff was exceptional. It was very convenient for us.

I really didnt like the lights outside - they were so so bright and it made it hard to sleep at night. And tehre is no insulation between units so even when having regular activity the neighbors were super loud and disrupted sleep.

The check in Owner did not reply to anything , we arrived at 5.30pm, and he was aware of the time. No one in sight, office locked amd the emergency phone number on the door would not connect. We waited for over an hour to try and gain access to our room, a 30 minute call to booking.com, we are UK based so cost me a fortune, even they couldnt get hold of the owner. Luckily i eventially had an email with instructions on how to access the room After a 10 hour journey, did not appreciate a 1 hr wait outside the properry. We tried another hotel over the road but it was fully booked, another traveller had the same ordeal the day before us The actual room was really good but the whole checking in was horrendous. Top tip, the office was unlocked so managed to get a car permit haha
