The host was very friendly and helpful. The room smelled good, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and the location was convenient to attractions that we visited.

Friendly, inviting reception. Everything was immaculate. It was obvious that a lot of thought had gone into details- decorative tiles in the bathroom, complimentary cinnamon rolls and Hershey kisses in the room. It is a small motel, with maybe a dozen units, which we found delightful compared to a huge chain motel. The free breakfast was, again, well thought out and complete . My husband and I were there with another couple and we were all extremely happy with our see stay. We are already planning a return trip in the Spring!

Been there many times over the years. Great location and grounds cannot be beat. Room is basic but they did offer breakfast which was nice.
The lack of decent coffee in the room. The owner did not understand that the “coffee bag filter” was weak as water and kept saying it made four cups, it made two half decent ones. This needs a big improvement otherwise great value for money. We had two queen beds in our room and one of them creaked loudly.

For a one night stay, the room was adequate. Nothing fancy, but the bed was comfortable, hot water was hot, the TV was big. Check in and out was easy.
I'm sensitive to smells, and the room did have an odor. Not terrible, but like it needed a deep cleaning or at least airing out. I was surprised that there was only a shower stall and it was quite small. Breakfast offerings were minimal and in a very small, cramped area.
