The motel is close to downtown. There's a good pub and grill across the street and easy to walk to. Very friendly locals there. Lots of people brag about the motel breakfast. We felt it left a little to be desired especially for someone who is diabetic. There were not a lot of options and the second day we went to a local diner. The front desk staff and housekeeping staff were very nice and polite and the room was adequate. The ceiling light entering the room flickered until it finally burnt out. There was a shuttle that ran to Octoberfest in New Glarus although we didn't take advantage of it, the opportunity was there. We'd probably return, if the rooms weren't available in New Glarus again.
More options for diabetics at the breakfast. The Breakfast isn't a deal breaker for us however. It's my thinking if you only stay at a place because of a continental breakfast you have no business staying at all.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very comfortable.
Breakfast was a little lackluster.

Grossly overpriced for a fairly standard hotel. Nothing fancy but definitely priced like there was something to be expected....
