Staff was good

A little dated

Our room was super clean and they smelt so clean and fresh. They were decorated very nicely. Bed was way too tall.

The bed was so high (tall). My husband and I had an awful time trying to get upon the bed, just to get upon to bed to go to sleep was a struggle. When I stood beside the bed the top of the mattress measured at my hip. I’m 5’3 and my husband is 5’5. It’s not like we are short people. We could not sit on the bed to put our socks or even our pants on. When I tried to put on my pants by leaning on the bed side and the bed slid about 12” and I just about fell. So my husband and I took turns dressing while using the chair at the desk. I told to front desk clerk about the height of the bed. She said she would report our concern. She said they had had other people complain about the height of the beds. She was very nice.

Got an outside room right next to main entrance. Voices quiet enough

Could have used a small table in room

Was a good value

We booked a non smoking room with two queen beds. We checked in with a desk clerk who seemed rather disinterested and before I completed our transaction, she began checking in a couple of apparent "regulars" and turned her attention to them. We found our room and upon opening the door it was obvious that the room had been smoked in extensively. It reeked of cigarette and cigar smoke, easily recognizable by an individual who quit smoking 20 years ago after having smoked for 45 years. It was pretty obvious that the floor had not been swept or housekeeping would likely have vacuumed up the dead cockroaches from the floor. We stay at Wyndham hotels on a regular basis, but that my soon change as this is the second Roach infested hotel we've encountered. Something needs to change and as an individual who worked in big business, I'd suggest starting at the TOP and working my way down. I am currently VP of the corporation that operates our Florida RV Resort and I can say, with confidence, if our business was run this poorly, heads would roll.
