The location was great. If you get the lakeside room, I was able to look outside and see the lake in the pool. Nice views! Also, the bed was very comfortable and I slept well.
When I walked in, the room was pretty stodgy and warm. It would have been nice to walk into a cool crisp temperature versus feeling like I walked into a sauna. Secondly, there were patched holes above the bed where a picture should have been. It just looked a bit trashy in my opinion. Another thing that wasn't so great was the crosstalk that happened when we were checking in. The staff were staff were talking to each other but not really engaging with us and I find that extremely unprofessional as I also work in the hospitality industry. Last but not least, the breakfast was typical out of the box hotel food. This always tends to be a problem for me because I have a sensitive gut and I am a pescatarian. I would really love to have seen some fruit on the bar or some type of a whole food option. Process proteins and carbs ought to be a thing of the past in the hotel industry if you ask me.

Near a lake
My lake view room did have a lake view of you got close to the window and looked carefully past the trees and buildings you could see a sliver of water. So technically it was a lake view room.

Location good. Room okay but thin walls. Could hear occupants next door jumping around late into the evening.
Breakfast was basic.
