La Quinta by Wyndham Milwaukee Delafield

The convenience to where we needed to go was great. The pool was warm. The lobby and breakfast area are open and bright. They had 2 kinds of fruit, which was nice.

The beds are full size. They also need to be replaced as they dip in the middle. The toilets are low. They need to have a person in the cafe area to clean tables and refill items as needed. The peanut butter and cream cheese they have in the cafe seemed old.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable

Only one coffee machine for breakfast and it had to rest between each cup of coffee. Many frustrated customers. No one helped. I helped many customers with the coffee maker. They also didn't prepare the amount of customers with the fruit over a holiday weekend.

The hotel overall looked nice, and was in a decent location relative to where our day plans were. Check-in went smoothly as well, and the bed was comfortable.

When we entered our room, the room had a damp feeling and somewhat musty smell, noticeable enough that we went and bought some Febreze from the nearby Target. The main reason for this was the A/C was blasting at max, always on fan, at 66 degrees, for who knows how long, making all the humidity of the day very literally condensate within the room. The carpeting was even damp. To be a bit clear, I more or less expect this from a lower end hotel in Wisconsin, it's beyond common, but that fact that it could have been avoided if they just put the A/C at like 70 degrees with an auto fan setting, which would be more than comfortable this time of the year, makes me feel I have to start speaking up.

The tv had decent channels

More than one cream packet for coffee. The ironing board was left out in the floor. There was leftover food in the refrigerator. The toilet was super low - needs updating
