The BW Miner's Inn was a nice spot to stay on our northern California trip. The room was clean and spacious and had all of the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. Having an on-site breakfast option was nice since we wanted to hit the road early that morning.
For the amount of rooms that the hotel has, the breakfast dining room was a little small. When we looked for a table that could seat four, none were available. Fortunately, we were able to use one of the tables that was outside by the pool instead.

price was cheaper than some others, which meant I expected compromises-- which I experienced.
No tissues in the room.
I arrived late at night and hung "Do not disturb" on the door, yet at 10:20 a.m., while I was still asleep, someone simultaneously knocked on the door and also pushed into the room. Because the slide lock was engaged they did what you psybfumgou ateget in I guess there's nothing to report, but if nothing else, it showed the lack of staff training.
Several other details in accommodations we're lacking, but I guess you get what what you pay for.

Super friendly gentleman checked us in. Walking distance to some restaurants. Easy breakfast in the lobby.

"The staff was very nice. The beds were comfortable and nice hot showers. There was a nice grassy area for our dogs to play and get out energy after a long drive!"
