Rodeway Inn Sandusky North

The room was clean, the water ran nice and hot and clear. The gentleman at the check in desk was a gem and was pleasant conversation. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, and the heat worked very well when the temp dropped to the 30's one night. It was very close to shopping, a very good restaurant and a quick ride to Cedar Point. There was a blackout blind that did a good job. I used the coffee maker and it ran quickly, brewed a nice little cup, and there was packets of creamer, sugar and stir sticks.

There seemed to be families with a lot of young, screaming children that went on for half the night. I don't blame the hotel for this, but it was obnoxious lol. The floors and tub were scuffed, but it wasn't the end of the world nor did it affect the overall cleanliness or comfort. The reason for my 8 rating instead of a full 10 was that the doors bolt didn't latch and there was no other secondary safety lock on the door. And soundproofing could have been better. It took a little bit of maneuvering to get around the TV stand and the foot of the bed, but I didn't mind.

Location to park.

Wifi didn't work at all. Constantly went out. Not dependable at all. Bottom of the bed was very dirty.

Very clean, no pests. Perfect for a quick stay

Very small room, no mini fridge, some things didn’t work but I did alert the staff.

Newly remodeled but low quality and not quite done it seemed. It was clean at least.

Bathroom door didn't lock. Door to the room was very difficult to latch. Mattress was almost impossible to sleep on. Over all just a cheap place to crash at before cedar point.
