room was clean, elevator worked, had breakfast sandwich.
it is basically a motel, but is reasonable value near UVa campus, worked fine for overnight stay.
8 / 10Excellent·oct. 2026
Room was large and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was limited but sufficient. All rooms were accessed by outside walkways. But, the weather was nice and this was not a problem.
The outside walkways could be a problem in bad weather. But, it seems that many hotels in the area have outside walkways. There was an elevator to get to the upper floors, but it is at the opposite end from check in and requires a walk to get to it and if your room is at the other end of the hotel and long walk back to your room.

The staff was amazing. The beds were comfy
The room was not very clean. They were cleaning the sidewalk during our stay and the dirty water came under the door and was all over the floor.
