Parking was limited later in evening. Came back from a wedding late.

Clean room, responsive employees. No hassles (except as indicated)

Check-in. I had a reservation. Arrived around my stated time. No other guests checking in. The man who checked me in took a very long time to "find me a room." He said the place would be "packed starting tomorrow." To me it appeared that he didn't have a room for me. I asked to verify that my reservation was on file, he confirmed. Then continues to peruse the computer screen for a good five minutes or so. It left me thinking the hotel was over-booked for the weekend and I (who was arriving on a Wednesday night) was the one who was going to suffer for it. In a way I did, the room I was assigned was above the lobby and the the closest to the highway - and it's traffic noise.

The breakfast was a bit better than I was expecting. The room was clean. The check-in was easy. The location was good.

Not anything that was the fault of the staff but there were some loud guests outside in the corridor at 5 in the morning.

The staff is amazing. They are very friendly, caring and helpful. The breakfast was good. It is not elaborate, but enough to get the day started with basic offerings. Food was freshly made. The kitchen and seating area was clean. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. The rooms are clean. Connie is a very hard worker and will help when you need anything

The property is older and seems like some renovations are been attempted, but not fully or professionally done. The lobby is professionally updated and very nice, but guests do not spend time there. The work in the rooms is sporadic and messy. Carpet in room and bathroom tile looks newer. Bathroom tile is very slippery when wet. Had towels covering floor to prevent slips and falls. The caulking in shower is badly done. It is cracked and pulled away. Water is most definitely flowing behind wall and tile which will lead to mold. Caulking behind toilet is at least an inch wide and still not sealing gaps.
