Smelled old but area didn’t smell good in general

The hotel was quiet enough and has good access to I-94 eastbound into downtown Chicago.
The hotel was some distance from where I wanted to be, but everyhing closer was obscenely expensive. Ongoing construction on Old Orchard Road made access to and from the hotel difficult, other than accessing the onramp to I-94 East.
