Sandy Beach Resort

There was plenty of water activities for us and the kids. Very convenient to have a kitchen. The coffee bar is the minimum but pots are in rooms and Walmart is 2 miles a way. The place isn't brand new but it was overall clean and we were happy with our stay.

No lounge to have a drink at. No coffee on site. I guess resorts doesn't do that. You bring all you want to eat or drink. Nice resort. Ladies at front desk was very helpful and helped us book 2 more nights

Conveniently located and within a walkable distance to the pier if you like to fish.

The first night when I pulled back the sheets, there was a very large, dark, noticeable stain on the fitted sheet right at the head of the bed. It was a light brown and ran down the side of the bed. The last night there, the emergency alarm went off at 4:30 am. It went off for approximately 45 minutes. We evacuated using the stairs like the alarm said to do and waited outside. No employees were out there to inform the guests about what to do or what was happening. We eventually went to the front desk where the employee told us nothing was wrong and we could go back to the room. The alarm was still sounding at this time.
