Very good accommodation, dog friendly, great staff, fantastic Spa. If you want to get massage, Saidy is highly recommended.
If you are traveling with a dog, there is very limited amount of grass for dogs. You can smell chlorine from the pool 20-30 feet away. My hope was to have some mineral water in the pool.

Second stay at Calistoga Motor Lodge this fall! Which says a lot. Enjoyed poolside lunch and drinks both days. Walked to dinner down the street.

Girls trip and we enjoyed the adult pool for a quiet vibe. Had cocktails by the pool and really good fish tacos with corn salsa. Room was pleasant. Bar was lively.
The only minor negative feedback is the bathroom is very far outside of the adult pool area, requiring to walk about 2 mins away and enter/exit two gates using card key. The main (kid) pool has a bathroom right in that gated area. Would be better of adult pool did, too.

Very nice and clean property with nice pools and restaurant.
The dog policy was never made clear. I was shocked and appalled to get charged $100 upon check in, when I was exhausted after several hours of driving and it was too late to cancel without being charged. This is an exorbitant fee and it was never made known prior to my arrival. The front desk staff tried to blame it on the fact that I booked through ‘a 3rd party’ but I have booked other hotels through 3rd parties for years and never had this problem. I would not return for this reason.
