Best Western Commerce Inn

The price was right on a weekend when UGA had a football game unlike everywhere else. We weren't there for that. The breakfast was excellent, and I appreciated how long the breakfast window of operation was in comparison to other hotels I've used. There were ample electrical outlets available for me to charge my devices and many amenities provided in our room. I appreciated the cleanliness of the iron and ironing board that I needed to look my best after unpacking on a long drive, and how quickly the staff responded to our needs. We're low maintenance except that we arrived exhausted and wanted to rest early in the day. A couple with a young rambunctious child was booked in the room upstairs from us after we checked in, complicating our desire to rest. With a quick polite phone call, we very much appreciated how they were moved quickly to a better room where nobody would be disturbed. Of course we were sad that we caused them to move, but we appreciated this accommodation and how congenial everyone was about it. I would say the staff went out of their way to take great care of us. Being so close to the highway, we were able to quickly meet the timeline of all of our events throughout the north-Georgia region for the 3 days we were there! Plenty of restaurants and retail stores surround this location so if you forgot anything, it's practically within walking distance and you can replace it.

The only thing I could improve about my stay was the reasons we were there. Best Western has nothing at all to do with any of that, and to be honest, because of how we were treated they helped us make the best of bad circumstances.

Friendly front staff, beds were comfortable

No outlet by mirror in room. Parking was difficult as there was not much room between building and parking spots. Breakfast hot food was tolerable.
