Exceptional

- very central location, easy to walk to from Bryant Park and close to MTA. - very nice, boutique style of rooms - excellent views and drinks on rooftop terrace

- be aware that the rooftop bar closes at 11pm or midnight.

The lobby was nicely decorated. The restaurant/bar lobby level was good, in terms of food and drink. The rooftop bar was very small, but the view was amazing of the Empire State building. The location was central to a lot of things.

The room was claustrophobic. I have stayed in a lot of NY hotels and this was the smallest room I've ever stayed in. There was about 1-2' all the way around the bed. There was an ironing board in the tiny closet, but there was no where to set it up to be able to iron anything. There was no drawer storage. The desk was unusable. I had a late flight out on a Monday and asked for a late check out, but the hotel would not grant it. The front desk staff was great the day of check in and check out, but rude the other days. The noise on my floor was high, as there were parties of young women who were quite vocal. For the price, the value just wasn't there for me.
