GetAways at Palm Springs Tennis Club

Location, amenities, comfort - really great little apartment/suite a quick walk from downtown, close to the art museum and several good hikes! Had absolutely everything I needed and more! Good to know: This place is mostly inhabited by folks who own timeshares and have been staying here for decades, so you’ve got the opportunity to learn a lot about Palm Springs, the property, etc! They clearly love the place and treat it like a second home, so be respectful.

This isn’t a big negative, it adds to the charm of the place, but the rooms are dated. Just know you’re staying in a throwback room, but everything works, is comfortable, and it appears they’ve updated some of the bathrooms more recently!

Hidden cleaning fee: $50.00 (couldn't find it anywhere on the Booking.com confirmation.) Where is the transparency? Also, don't expect any grace with the mandatory 1030 check-out (who does that?). This is a "resort" spot, not a corporate meeting village where people get up at 6:00 a.m., get coffee, check out, and run for a meeting or a flight. I recognize Spencers (next door) is not affiliated, although they are advertised extensively throughout the hotel, and are closed during the week without notice. It would have been nice to be told at the front desk, "Oh, by the way," since the next nearest restaurant is a 15-20 min walk in stifling heat.
