This is our second time visiting Berkshire Mountain Lodge. It’s such a hidden gem! The price is great, staff is friendly. Our family loves this resort.
The hot tub was out of service but they let us use their sister hotel, which turned out to be just as fun! We also got a noise complaint which was weird because we were just eating dinner.

The property is very clean, well maintained and centrally located for visiting many historic and cultural sites.
There was nothing we didn’t like about the property.

We had a room which was actually 2 rooms: a bedroom and a combination living room and kitchen which was just about fully-equipped. It would be a very comfortable stay for more than 2-3 days because there was a way to store and even prepare some food. The separate living room area made it great for me and my husband. He's an early riser and likes to get up and read or practice guitar and I sleep a little later. So we both were able to do what suited us. Not the fanciest place we've ever stayed but it really suited our needs. I would definitely recommend it.

It was a great space size wise.
Everything was quite fine except my friend had requested a fragrance free room. It was fragrance free but it had some other kind of noxious smell and we couldn't figure out what it was. We thought maybe it was a strange cleaning fluid, or maybe the air conditioning. She didn't want to change rooms for fear that another room would the worse. I believe her room was 403. I'm reporting this based on what she told me. I was in room 405 which I will review separately.
