Hampton Inn and Suites Lynchburg

Loved the location of my room. High floor. Near elevators. Also enjoyed the free breakfast.Great way to start my day.

When housekeeping tidied up my room, they didn't take off trash or refill coffee supplies. Had to go down to lobby every morning to get coffee.

Clean and friendly atmosphere

The room and whole property was extremely clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. Loved the free breakfast and all day coffee. I was visiting family at Liberty University and the location was perfection.

I did not find anything at all to dislike. Everything was perfect for my stay.

It was super easy to get in and out of because of the stoplight, and it was conveniently located. The indoor pool was a nice feature.

The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I’ve slept on. You could feel the springs and it was so hard. Neither of us got any sleep the entire weekend. My husband even said he thought sleeping on the floor may be more comfortable than the bed. Also, they barely gave you any bedding. It was a super thin sheet and duvet, like sleeping under a large sheet of paper. There were no towel rods for hand towels which would have been helpful. The hallway downstairs smells awful of gas like there is a gas leak, and when I mentioned it to the front desk staff she said it was from the dryers and was normal. Maybe they need to vent those outside? Seems dangerous. Breakfast ends promptly at 10a. 10:30 would probably be better.
