SpringHill Suites by Marriott Bridgeport Clarksburg

Breakfast was great. Room was excellent with new bath and room fixtures. The bed was very comfortable.

Young man at the desk on arrival was a little surly and had problems finding my credit card on file. He could have been much friendlier than he was.

Design of the rooms was fabulous. Very spacious,clean,and quiet.

Wish there was gravy with the biscuits but that’s the country in me talking.

It was clean, comfortable, and attractive.

Breakfast and a couple of maintenance issues were disappointing. In the room the floor lamp at the entrance was not working. Also the reading light on one of the beds was not working. I left a note for housekeeping. But I don’t think guests should need to be the ones to note these things. Breakfast had its issues too: first coffee creamer ran out, then coffee ran out, eggs ran out and the front desk had to be notified that replenishment was necessary for these. And the juice machine was “out of order” … just like last year when I stayed here. Don’t get me wrong. This is a very nice, reasonably priced property with excellent staff (particularly Marshal). I will be staying again next year…if only to check on the juice machine.
