Beautiful, historic property with comfortable beds and friendly staff. Charmingly quirky and full of character. My go to in Mobile and I’m from there.
Lacks breakfast but there are great spots nearby; don’t miss Bobs Downtown Restaurant. 5min walk. The pancakes are the best in the city.

Love the charm and character of The Malaga. We stay there every time we’re in Mobile.

The architecture, decor and staff were really enjoyable. Bed was comfy. The ac they put in the room since the hotels unit was out was acceptable. The room was large and decorated aesthetically. Close to a historical square.
Door wouldn’t close all the way and the handle was sprung. I think the price may have been a little steeper than it should have been, but it was enjoyable enough.
