We had a wonderful stay! Communication before our arrival was excellent, and the organization throughout the house was very well thought out. Each room had its own designated equipment, including a dish sponge and tea towel, as well as assigned dishes and storage space for dry food. We really appreciated these small details, which made everything easy and convenient. The room was well equipped with a fan, a fridge, a desk, and plenty of hooks and places to hang things. Towels and even beach towels were provided, along with ample shampoo, and there was a hairdryer in the bathroom. Free parking was available for every room, with individually assigned spaces to avoid any confusion. We also loved the balance between privacy and social interaction: we could enjoy our own space whenever we wanted, but we particularly enjoyed chatting with our host. We had some lovely conversations and learned a lot about local fruits and other aspects of the area. The shared guest area also had a balcony and a small selection of games, making it a nice place to relax. Overall, everything was thoughtfully arranged, and we felt very comfortable during our stay. We would happily recommend this place!

The Hawaiian Ohana Home had everything needed for a comfortable stay in Hilo. 6-8 minute drive from the main strip and in a quiet, calm, safe area. Diana was super lovely and hospitable, helped me with a last minute extension no problem. Terrific value while staying on the east side of the island.

Diana was welcoming. She has everything very organized and supplies everything you. We enjoyed the casual vibe.

The property is well out of town—not a problem if you have a car.
