The family who runs it are great. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. There are no strange odors in any of the rooms I stayed in, and I was in four different rooms over the course of three weeks. It’s walking distance to decent restaurants; Peet’s Coffee is by the New York Pizza place, five minute walk….and a Starbucks is even closer by the Five Guys Burgers, basically right across the street/2 minute Jaywalk.
It’s on a main thoroughfare so traffic can be loud.

It’s a great place to stay if you just need something clean and secure. It’s a bit outdated but it was fine for one night. Plus it was close to the arena.
There’s nothing I didn’t like.

The location, the staff are great, the rooms are clean and odor free. The classic neon sign on the front and side of the building is great.
Nothing comes to mind. Maybe the water pressure could have been a little better.

Quiet and close to downtown.
2 great bus stops right outside the property
Checked in for 4 days.
Put a DO NOT DISTURB sign on my door to try and sleep off the jet lag and was woken up the very next morning by the cleaner.
She argued with me that I needed to check out.
I told her she was wrong
The next morning (with the sign still on the door) she knocked and knocked again. This time I didn’t open for her and she eventually went away.
