TownePlace Suites by Marriott Auburn University Area

Great that transport (Groome)stops there. Close to Hertz for car hire, close to Starbucks and other food options, close to Walmart. All walkable if no vehicle. Fantastic staff especially maintenance -Dawn I think, she could fix anything! And when I seemed to have a series of problems was at my door before I had even got back from reception. Really lovely and welcoming too. Front desk bent over backwards to help me too - extra sheets, can opener, luggage storage. As I say really great staff. Also excellently equipped kitchen - large pan, small pan and excellent non stick fry pan, enough utensils to cook properly including measuring spoons.

Breakfast was the only let down. Poor coffee and V little gluten free option. I wouldn’t normally expect a full meal but available bread in some format +/- a cereal. That’s said it was suite accommodation so kitchen facilities/ fridge in room and so really presented no problem.

no way to key into stairwell on the end

Every thing was nice

Needs updating

Breakfast was ok. Eggs are not great at all. Selection wasn’t bad but more fresh fruit would be nice. Room was clean and we liked the layout.

The mattress in our room needs to be replaced. The side near the bathroom has a major divot worn into it. The air conditioner makes annoying noises every time it kicks on which wakes you through the night. The hottest setting in the shower was just barely warm and with it being an open shower (no door) I was cold throughout my shower. The disposal in the room needs cleaning….smells bad.
