La Tourelle Inn & Spa

I really loved how cozy the room was with the fireplace, wine glasses and books. We also loved how spacious the room was with the balcony to sit outside and have coffee. Just wish we could have spent more time at the Inn!

Maybe need a side entrance from the bigger parking lot, as it was dark out there to come around to the front door.

Hot breakfast was strong. Staff pleasant. Surroundings nice. Room comfortable and clean. Good restaurant. Enough parking.

Room on second floor too close to lobby and could clearly hear people speaking loudly while trying to sleep. Made appointment at spa on September 30 for specialty massage. Was told I was getting a discount because it was a September special. My appointment was the next morning, Oct 1, at 9am. Later that day I was called and told that La Tourelle was removing my discount because I was getting the massage in October, the scheduling woman had made an error in scheduling me. So I cancelled the massage out of principle. The manager should have allowed the discount to stand. The honest error was made by the Spa staff and they should never disappoint the consumer due to their mistake. Apparently, the manager on duty that day never took a business 101 class where you do everything to please your guest, especially since the mistake was not the customers. So to save giving me a $15 discount, La Tourelle lost the entire $140 charge for the cancelled massage. Not smart.

Very comfortable and nice updates.

Continental breakfast was not kept up, very little food out. Since we had to pay it should have been better.

The staff was great and very accommodating. The grounds and the view were amazing. The breakfast was ok.

The air conditioning in our room was broken on a 90 degree day and they were fully booked so we could not switch rooms. The breakfast was not included in the price of the room and for being a paid breakfast was not the greatest.
