We stayed in the cottage. I love that. It had two separate bedrooms, a kitchen, dining room and living room. Beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was really wonderful.
It was not very clean. The towels were very old and thin. One of the recliners was broken.

Well kept rooms, check in and out was very easy. Just a short drive from St. Ignace and a good jumping off point for hiking spots further north. I couldn't be happier and will gladly be staying here again.

The comfort of feeling like I was home. I love the recliner, hotels only have hard chairs or the bed to lay or sit on. Having the recliner is so comfortable.
That we could only stay one night out of the week we were in town. Nothing else in town makes you feel like Bear Cove.

The location was good and the decor was great
Staff was really unfriendly. They called at 7am (waking me up) to see what time we were arriving and then when we weren't there when expected called again and sounded exasperated that we weren't there.
We stayed in the cottage. It was pretty sparse on items. Tacky notes threatening fines if things weren't cleaned. The whole thing really needed a deep clean. My feet were dirty from walking barefoot.
The decor was cute and well made.
Kind of overpriced for the size.
