Waldo Emerson Inn

Everything! The attention to detail was incredible. Would definitely stay again. A fantastic accommodation.

Nothing

The innkeeper and staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, and we truly enjoyed our conversations with them. The breakfasts were absolutely phenomenal! As the oldest home in the area, the inn is full of historic charm, with beautiful furnishings and decor that perfectly capture its old-world character. At the same time, the updated bathrooms and thoughtful modern comforts make it an exceptionally comfortable place to stay. It’s a wonderful blend of history, charm, and hospitality.

Ron and Emelia, who run the B&B, were fabulous hosts provided great breakfasts, suggestions of where to eat and visit. The house felt like a home, pristine rooms, hot showers, comfy beds, two chill out lounges with fires and an honesty bar. They had an outdoor fire pit and free s'mores to toast and enjoy which was fun. We borrowed from them a couple of bicycles to visit Kennebunkport, Ocean drive, and the surrounding area, all in a day so great location.

Absolutely nothing.

Amelia, the hostess was very nice. She immediately gave us a tour of this lovely, historic home. The room was clean and spacious just as you would hope. I loved the wallpaper, attention to detail in decorating, plush towels, modern amenities, comfortable bed. However, it was all the extra niceties that put it over the top. Breakfast was very enjoyable. Coffee and beverages were readily available. They also had homemade pumpkin bread upon your arrival, little tasty candy treats at all times. You could also borrow bikes, there were plenty of umbrellas for rainy days and beach towels if needed. They had a cozy fire pit at night with blankets and s’mores. They thought of everything! I would highly recommend this beautiful Inn.

Can’t think of anything!
