Ruco

Ruco is located very centrally, just 2-3 minutes from Hagi Bus Centre and Hagi Meirin, and only 7 min walk to Hagi Castle Town. It's also excellent value for money. The staff are super friendly and speak english, which is great. They'll also help you out with tips on where to eat etc. as needed.

The bed was comfortable but the pillow was rather hard, making my sleep a bit uncomfortable. However, given that it is a hostel style accomodation, I'm happy to keep expectations on the lower side .

Ruco is a fantastic guest house. It is in an ideal location - walking distance to the Hagi Castle Town, Hamasaki and other sites. The staff were amazing - so friendly, helpful and chatty. They gave a great tour of the guest house, which is very tastefully decorated. Comfortable bunk with a locker and padlock. The bathroom and showers were very clean. There are at least three separate areas to relax and chat to other guests. Very cheap 24-hour parking in Car Park 3 next to City Hall. I will definitely be staying here again. I hope the staff are the same :-)

The staff are kind and friendly. They'll help you explore the town by recommending spots and shops, and they'll also help you interact with the locals. The building is old and the interior space is limited, but you can feel the warmth of the wood and the kindness of the people.

It would be better if they had more bathrooms and shower booths.

Le côté authentique de l'auberge. L'accueil chaleureux à l'arrivée dans un anglais parfait (rare). Possibilité de se garer à côté. Une cuisine bien équipée et chaleureuse. Le balcon de la chambre. La propreté partout. Les futons très confortables.

Le bruit des tôles du toit avec le vent (sommeil impossible). Triple escalier raide pour accéder à toutes les commodités (une première mezzanine, toilettes et douches puis chambres). Un seul wc et 2 douches sont un peu justes.
