The staff was great. They were nice and accommodating.
The place was not tidy. There were tears in the carpet in the hallways. The stairs were damaged. The elevators were dirty. The walls in my room had stains on them. The bathroom floor had visible dirt and dust. All of these things made my stay uncomfortable. This hotel needs to be deeply cleaned. It only seems to be a problem in Michigan because I’ve stayed at Holiday Inn locations in other states and they have been very neat and clean.

Didn't eat breakfast, the location was fine, I did not receive my $50 back that was held on my card
I did not like the bathroom doors, there wasn't any privacy
