It was very clean and had all the amenities needed

Requested early check in as we were moving hotels that day and they got us in super early around 12:45pm which was VERY appreciated! King efficiency room was super spacious and nice. Good price point for on-the-beach accommodation.

Beware "oceanfront" does NOT mean "ocean view". We booked oceanfront king and half the rooms had a giant dune blocking any ocean or beach view, ours being one. Was very bummed, we had to walk out of the room and around the dune to get to the beach. Beach was also in poor condition in KDH, smelly and a mess. Being beachfront, sand in the room was very difficult to manage but that was our choice. Pool was closed (and not heated.) It's very vintage and cozy, but just not our thing. Office had limited hours and it made us a little nervous knowing there wasn't staff on property at all times for emergencies. Also, getting into the room was strange for the door lock, and not communicated to us well.

Access to the beach was good. Access to shops & food places were convenient. Kitchen is well stocked with items if you want to cook.

There is no housekeeping other than towels & trash bags. Given the amount of sand that accumulates on the floors etc. there should be at least a sweep every other day. I did not expect to have to housekeep on vacation. I was locked out of the room and it took an IT person to let me back in. The front desk person never returned after I went to get her to unlock the door with a master key.
