Hotel Derby Sevilla

The space was perfect for my short stay in Seville. Great location with an ATM, restaurants and popular sites nearby, which are all walkable. Very convenient bus stop right outside of the hotel which can take you straight to Sant Justa train station. The room was quite small but had everything I needed. Breakfast is extensive and lovely to have out on the rooftop.

The TV only had 2 channels, both in Spanish, with no Youtube option for casting from your phone. The AC unit is extremely cold, and seems to be locked on a single temperature. Extremely cold!!!!!! I tried adjusting the thermostat but there was no noticeable difference. Upon calling the front desk, their suggestion was to turn it off entirely. Again, the room is small - so ventilation is necessary; turning it off cannot be the only solution if a guest is uncomfortable with the temperature they have set. I visited in October, when seasonal temperatures in Seville were still fluctuating. This is precisely the time of year when guests arriving from different climates may need the ability to adjust their room temp for comfort.

Great location in the old town. Michael really knowledgeable about the local area. Room very comfy with good shower and bath. Local eateries good and reasonably priced. Highly recommend the hop on hop off bus.

The fact there's a roof terrace you can take your own drinks to and watch the city but only found out by chance when going to the loo before leaving for the airport.

The room was good, bathroom also. Beds and pillow comfortable. Breakfast selection extensive. I was able to walk every where which was excellent. Minimart restaurant all close by.

It was very noisy at night. Every door opening and closing was as if it was your door! Every conversation in the hall could be heard. I definitely didn’t sleep well
