The hosts were very welcoming and kind. Nothing was too much trouble - for example we asked for extra towels so we could use them for the pool, and they were with us immediately! The care the hosts take of the cottages, garden and pool is great. We felt right at home. The cottage we stayed in was decorated and furnished very comfortably. The kitchen had everything we needed to self cater. It was a lovely touch to have plastic cutlery and plates etc for use outside. The shower was hot and water plentiful. We were near to Stamford and Peterborough and the photo book on the coffee table was packed with information on how to use the cottages (eg recycling) and where to go to visit and eat. Such a help!

The only thing I didn't bring was salt and pepper as I thought that it might be a 'staple' in the kitchen, so we used some from a cafe we'd visited on the first day. My mistake.

Fantastic location, very cute looking cottages, beautiful swimming pool and lovely owner.

The shower isn't the best quality and the pressure was very low, no existing toiletries-just cheap shower gel in brocken plastic bottle, also a big no from me was the well used sponge in the kitchen

Very relaxing environment, surroundings are beautiful! The cottage had everything we needed for self catering and a quiet comfortable sleep. Next time I’d like to enjoy a few more walks from the cottages.
