We were backpacking in Norway and started here in the shoulder season so the hotel was quiet but it was wonderful! Warm, clean, cosy and super comfortable. The staff were fantastic. So friendly and helpful. Dombas is a mile away. You can walk to the hotel from the station but it is uphill.
Dombas village is small with a few restaurants. Great hiking nearby. We were there for a musk ox safari and the staff at Trolltun organised transport for us from the hotel. Free coffee on tap from the bar area. The breakfast was awesome. Huge selection and fresh and healthy. The shower was excellent. We could not recommend it enough

It was a good location to Rondane National Park
Everything felt just ramshackle and unfinished. It felt a little understaffed especially at breakfast time.
