The property was clean and tidy, it was secure and we were given keys to access the hotel late into the night. The parking was a bonus and they even let us leave the car there after we checked out.
The stairs were narrow and steep.

Cheapest I could find near city centre (£60) so good value for money. Expected it to be basic, but all fine - helpful reception, single room quite adequate for solo traveller, shared toilet / shower no problem, welcome facility of help yourself breakfast with cereal, toast, tea etc. Very frequent buses outside into city centre / central station.
Room smell rather musty, fresh paint would help.

I needed a place to stay in the city that was quite central after a concert. Bentley's is easy to find, on many bus routes and well within walking distance of the city centre. Very good value, clean, quiet, with a lovely hot shower, comfortable beds with good reading light. It was basic but perfect for an overnight stay and met my expectations. Staff were welcoming. I had a twin room to myself which was comfortable and big enough for my needs - would have been a bit cramped for two.
It's basic with no restaurant and only tiny public space and no proper breakfast. But then I wasn't expecting any.

Quiet room, working shower.
Our room was on the top floor, we were traveling with lots of luggage and there was no lift. In the bathroom a tap was not working. Not extremely clean. Not enough space in the car park.
