Location.
Size and decoration of rooms.
Plenty of space.
Rooms were cold with inadequate radiators.

The Stalheim Hotel is a wonderfully quirky and characterful hotel In one of the most stunning locations imaginable. The views are absolutely breathtaking and were the reason we chose to stay here in the first place during a road trip around southern Norway.
What really made our stay all the more pleasurable was the warmth and friendliness of the staff who made us fell genuinely welcome.
The hotel is older and full of history as well as character which we absolutely loved. The quirkiness of this hotel certainly adds to its charm but it must also be said that it was spotlessly clean and very well cared for.
A memorable stay in a lovely setting that we would happily stay in again as well as giving it a hearty recommendation.
Breakfast was perhaps the the only disappointment and could have been better but this in no way diminished our enjoyment of our stay.

It’s a beautiful setting for a hotel, very quaint and relaxing, scenery is spectacular with the sheep grazing below our window.
The food at our supper was disappointing, and we shared the crowded restaurant with bus loads of people. They had a buffet set up for the tourist buses, and had a very limited dinner menu, we had one item off of the menu and three buffet’s. The food is not why you would go to this beautiful place its the wonderful staff and beautiful location.

They cater to the excursion busses more then regular travellers. The food was catered to excursion busses and when they leave there is nothing
