This villa was without a doubt the most wonderful villa we've ever stayed at. Clean, well looked after, gorgeous pool, tennis court with decent rackets and balls, comfortable beds, beautiful kitchen (well equipped!), and the smart fridge! I had to be dragged away.

Nothing.

We loved the quite and peaceful surroundings of the villa situated in the mountains surrounded by farmlands. The house is beautiful surrounded by cork oaks. We definitely loved the tennis court with a mountain view! One can have a really good sports and spa holiday in this villa also because there are hiking trails near by and there is a smimming pool and hot tub. It was enriching experience to hike in El Torcal de Antequera and to visit Alhambra de Granada Palaces during our week stay.

The swimming pool was very cold, but the water is very fresh. I used it after sports as a fresh up .

It is a lovely place. It is a bit remote and the next supermarket and restaurants need at least 10-20 minutes with the car. There is hardly any mobile network at the place but that is the beauty of it. There are lovely views of the mountains, a beautiful tennis court with a ball machine (which we made full us of) as well as a lovely well equipped kitchen. It was a bit cold to enter the swimming pool but we did use the outdoor Jacuzzi which was nice. We also did a successful barbeque as the equipment is high quality.

The internet was patchy and is not good enough for remote work. It was not a problem for us but for anyone looking to work from there, important to know. We lost power on the last day / night of our stay and it was very difficult to manage without that. Bathing soap and other basic utilities were missing. Would be great to stock up on those as a short trip to the supermarket is not possible.

The property has the potential to be excellent had a great pool, very private but needs a lot of maintenance.

There is only air conditioning in the kitchen/living room and the main bedroom up the stairs. There is mould in the main bathroom and on the bedroom wall behind the air conditioning unit. The air conditioning until need to be serviced as they aren’t all that cold. The smell that builds up in the main bedroom from the en-suite is awful and really unbearable we have to light candles at night and ensure that the en-suit door was always closed. I feel the property owner must know this as the en suite window was left open when we arrived. The house needs a deep clean. The kettle needed descaled there was all little bits in the kettle which made it unusable. The pillows you are given need replaced . The other bedrooms that have no air con are like ovens and unusable in my opinion as they are so hot. My son had to sleep on the couch. The sun loungers both by the pool and the one by the house all need to be washed they are all stained with some of the zips broken. The hammocks need tightened as you lay on them they touch the wooden frame. There are lots of wasps around the pool area as they are using it as a water source, this made sitting by the pool difficult we had been stung twice while sitting at the pool. There are wasps around the bbq and they where building a nest on the house drain pipe, we notified the host and and she told us to wash it away with water and we asked for a wasp trap as there where far to many around. We eventually got one but we were made to feel like we shouldn’t have asked. This place is remote and there are a lot of bugs which I expected but the amount of wasps made some of the facilities hard to use. The property ran out of water which was fixed around 6 hrs later. The tanks in the property had ran dry. Miguel did fix this but wasn’t all that friendly when my husband was trying to ask him if he needed any help. He’s a nice lad but it really made us feel awkward when we had ant issues
