Sweet Hotel Continental

The staff were lovely and very helpful. The hotel is extremely clean and everything worked well.

Since it's only a small hotel, it's necessary to book a breakfast slot so this doesn't give you much freedom if you don't have a rigid plan for your day. The only point I suggest for improvement relates to the communication between booking the room and arriving at the hotel. I booked through booking.com however there was no indication that I'd have to pay for the room 72h before arrival via a link sent by whatsapp. I ignored it at first because I thought it was a scam and was still concerned it was a scam when it insisted payment in a follow up message - I was concerned when I paid I and very much hoped it was genuine. I've never come across this request by whatsapp before, despite travelling regularly for my work. It's far too difficult to know if these links are genuine or fraudulent therefore some clear communication about this requirement at the point of booking would be helpful. Also on the booking.com information, it said it was possible to pay by cash at the hotel which seems to be incorrect since payment is requested online.

Location was great and central we didn’t have breakfast in the hotel we went out.
