I stayed at the Eco Lodge with a friend for a couple of nights as a little bday treat for myself. It was exactly what we wanted, nice chalet in the forest with an outdoor spa. It is a beautiful and well maintained property with cute kangaroos visiting here and there. We pretty much didn’t see a single soul which is what we wanted. The fireplace is lovely for the chill nights and they provide firewood.

We really enjoyed our stay overall, but there were a few things worth mentioning. The pillows smelled a little old and could probably do with being replaced. Also, the light comes through quite early in the morning, so if you’re someone who likes to sleep in, I’d definitely recommend bringing an eye mask — I brought one and it was honestly the best thing I did! The one thing that bothered me a little was the checkout experience. At around 10:10am, we were still loading the dishwasher after breakfast and finishing packing the car when someone knocked on the door to let us know that a machine was going to be parked in front of the property and that we wouldn’t be able to leave after that. Given that check-in is after 3pm and checkout is at 10am, and the stay was over $500 per night with no additional inclusions, I would have expected a little more flexibility around the checkout time — particularly as we were only about 10 minutes past checkout and were actively packing up and leaving. We also stayed midweek, outside of school holidays or a peak period. Aside from that, we had a lovely stay and enjoyed the property and its surroundings.

Loved our stay! The place was absolutely beautiful, and we couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. It was so peaceful and relaxing being surrounded by the bush. We had the perfect time away.

Not sure if the spa bath jetts worked, didnt stay on long.
