La Maison Rousseau Chambre d'hôtes

The property is well located for accessing all that Nimes has to offer and is furnished in a beautifully eclectic and unique style which is a credit to the proprietor. The courtyard where breakfast is served is delightful and filled with verdant plants and interesting objet d'art. We were kept entertained by the proprietor's playful puppy and friendly cat and the proprietor's unique approach to puppy training. The Continental breakfast was excellent with a good selection of fresh food available. The availability of air-conditioning in our room was a bonus given the high temperatures during our stay and the room was very comfortable. The proprietor is friendly and helpful.

The lack of a walk-in shower and tea and coffee-making facilities in the room but this is a minor negative observation and does not detract greatly from the overall comfort afforded by the accommodation.

Absolutely everything.

Nothing!

Beautifully decorated and centrally located

Stairs were dangerous as they had no handrail. Difficult to locate properly as it is on a very narrow street with only a small sign. Parking is difficult to access and to exit. Policies such as cash only payment for parking, payment for assistance with laundry, and having breakfast outside normal hours, despite being invited to do so, would result in diminished provisions and poor service were not provided up front causing stress and inconvenience.
