This is a space that I stayed with parents as a child. I love that the original Border Hotel is on the original door. The location is primo… I’m a runner.. so it’s a good spot for that as well. We only had the one night in London. I made a note in my reservation that I stayed at the Border Hotel as a child and the staff made certain to put me in that section. It was very special. I will always return to this property when I visit.
Part of the property was under renovation. I understand that cannot be helped and is a good thing. I only wish that I had known my window was where the workers were. Just on the other side of the pane. Made getting ready in the morning tricky. Miss the breakfast included aspect as well.

Close to Paddington Station. Clean. Water refill station.
Don’t stay in room 1623. I think the Underground is within 5 feet of the bed! It’s where the coffee machine is (noisy), the cleaners get out their equipment (noisy), the passage to anywhere else (noisy) and it’s so small you can only use one side of the bed. It’s not shown in any of the photos (possibly because the camera couldn’t fit!)

"Personnel adorable et très acceuillant. Voyageant seule, la chambre simple m'a largement suffi et la situation géographique était idéale."
