Dadurch dass es zentral liegt ist es auch an der Hauptstraße, und dementsprechend laut. Kann aber die Unterkunft nichts für. Sollte man aber beachten wenn man lieber eine ruhige Umgebung bevorzugt.

We booked last-minute when affordable options were scarce due to high demand, but our stay at Katerina Rooms exceeded expectations. Check-in and check-out were seamless for late arrivals, and the new, comfortable mattresses were a major upgrade from the photos. The balcony faces a supermarket and parking lot; while fine for us, light sleepers might notice the street noise. For us, it was more quiet than anticipated. Having a supermarket, coffee shop, and the Chania bus stop right outside was extremely convenient, with ample parking available for rental cars. Most impressively, the housekeeping staff kept the room spotless every single day with fresh linens and towels. They were very kind and friendly. We didn't have to worry about a thing.

The bathroom shower is small and the curtain gets in the way, making it nearly impossible not to flood the floor. Luckily, there’s a floor drain in the middle of the bathroom. To manage this, we kept a towel at the door and used dedicated rubber bathroom slippers, which kept us from dragging water into the rest of the room. The non-bed furniture is older but functional and fair for the budget price. The kitchen lacks a cutting board and is best suited for quick snacks rather than full meals. However, with Es.co bar and Synka across the street serving great cooked food, you won't need to use the kitchen for much besides keeping drinks and fruit cold in the fridge.

There is a Syn.Ka and Lidl store very close by, and there is also a view of the mountains from the window.

The lighting in the room was poor. The kitchen was always dim, and the kitchenware was unusable. The bottle holder in the refrigerator was broken, and the handle itself was broken. There were no chairs on the balcony (we had to bring chairs from the room to sit on the balcony). The room was dimly lit, making it impossible to read a book. The mosquito net in the bathroom was torn.
