Hotel Doñana Blues

The gardens are fabulous and make the place feel very special. Everything looks wonderful and feels good. It is a great location and the room was clean. The air conditioner worked great and the beds were comfortable. The staff was very helpful and very friendly.

Beautiful garden. Comfortable room. Easy access to the beach and restaurants. A couple of minutes walk. The staff was friendly and helped us book a tour for Doñana National Park.

The towels did not dry very well... There was no place in the shower to put soap in. You only get one power outlet at the bedside table. You have to choose between the lamp and the cellphone charger.

The green and birds (Black birds and Petirrojo) around the hotel! Super!! And nice personnel!

The smell in the room, which was very penetrating. Someone from the personnel told us that a quest before us had been smoking in the room. They probably tried to cover it?? But it smelled like a toilet spray odour. The many flowering Tuscan Jasmine around could have caused a bit of the penetrating smell. The bathroom was not clean enough. I was not very impressed about Matalascañas. Actually I found the village quit depressing. So my opinion about the hotel is probably a bit influenced. But a stay in Hotel Doñana Blues makes a stay in Matalascañas a bit softer.
